Ingredients:
Machha manji (roe of fish) – 300 gms
Onion – 1 large, finely chopped
Garlic paste – 1 heaped tsp.
Green chillies – 3 nos. finely chopped
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp finely chopped
Besan – 1 heaped tbsp.
Juice of half a lemon
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Procedure: Remove skin from the roe. Mix together all ingredients and leave to marinate for an hour. Heat oil until it lightly smokes. Then turn gas to sim and pour spoonfuls of the marinated mixture. Fry till golden brown. Enjoy with freshly cut onion!
