Pink denotes fragility, childish innocence or a child-like personality. It is the colour of purity in Love. It is also the colour of good health and life. We speak of being in the ‘pink of health’ or the ‘freshly pink’ look. Pink symbolises the essence of caring, romance, tenderness, acceptance and calm. Pink is the colour of universal love and compassion. While specifically representing breast cancer awareness, the pink ribbon is also a symbol and a proxy of goodwill towards women in general.
